Can-Can du Maison Verlaine

House of Verlaine's high-kicking, gender bending original commission from The French American School of Puget Sound debuted in the grand ballroom of The Fairmont Hotel in Seattle.

It is a nine-minute frolic inspired by the poster art of Toulouse-Lautrec and the grand traditions of Les Ballets Russes de Monte Carlo.  Backflips,  pranks, boys embracing the urge to don ruffled skirts, 137 high kicks and a few false endings leave audiences in awe, on their feet and begging for more.

Can-Can du Maison Verlaine is available for private and ticketed events, in full form or abbreviated versions.
